This page explains what cookies the Cave Biology Data Portal uses and how to change your choices. Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser.
What we use

We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies, nor do we use cookies to build a profile of you.
Filters in the address bar
When you set filters on the Browse page, they appear in the address bar so the result can be bookmarked or shared. That is held in the page address, not in a cookie, and nothing about it is stored or sent to us.
Third-party cookies
Analytics providers may set their own cookies under their own policies. Species accounts link out to databases such as GBIF and iNaturalist; those sites set their own cookies once you follow a link, and we have no control over them.
Changing your choices
Use the cookie banner, or the Cookie Settings link in the footer, to change your choices at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
